Audience Introduces its JEWEL CableLifter

San Marcos, CA, August 26, 2020 – Audience today announced the introduction of its JEWEL CableLifter, designed to raise cables off floors, and distance the cables from each other.

 The new JEWEL CableLifter is ideal for use underneath power cords, speaker cables and interconnects. Elegant and understated in appearance and made from an attractive clear material, the CableLifters are created with the goal of improving sound quality in high-end audio systems by reducing proximity to interference like conductive concrete slabs and to other electrical cables.

In addition, Audience’s JEWEL CableLifter is perfect for use under AC power cords, especially heavier ones, to keep them from sagging in the AC outlet and to ensure maximum electrical contact. CableLifters also give a system a neat, “finished” appearance.

Audience Introduces Its Hidden Treasure Cat7 Ethernet Cable

San Marcos, CA, July 13, 2020 – Audience today announced the introduction of its Hidden Treasure Cat7 Ethernet Cable, designed to deliver the ultimate in sound quality and performance in streaming, networked and professional audio applications. The new Hidden Treasure Cat7 cable is engineered and built to the highest standards and is ideal for the most demanding requirements.

 Audio over Ethernet applications require high data transfer speeds and superior noise rejection. Audience’s Hidden Treasure Cat7 cable facilitates a 10 gigabit per second transmission rate, ensuring reliable, uninterrupted streaming with no data loss or dropped connections. The cable features four twisted pairs of 23 AWG solid copper wiring and an outer wire shield for maximum rejection of EMI (electromagnetic interference), RF (radio frequency interference), system noise and crosstalk.

Audience Introduces Its Hidden Treasure SATA Data Cable, for Upgraded Performance in Music Servers and Computer Audio Devices

San Marcos, CA, January 22, 2020 – Audience is now shipping its Hidden Treasure SATA Data Cable. The new SATA (Serial AT Attachment) cable is designed as an upgrade for internal connections of music server/computer storage devices, solid-state and disk drives and other hardware.

The new Hidden Treasure SATA cable provides better data transfer by reducing jitter and RF contamination, resulting in a lower noise floor and notably improved sound quality in audio components such as computer-based music systems. It can be easily installed as a DIY upgrade.

“More audiophiles are turning to music servers and other data storage, drive-based devices for their music listening, and these devices require a SATA cable for connecting the drive to the rest of the internal electronics,” noted John McDonald, president of Audience. “As a cable manufacturer it was a logical area for us to look into. We’ve discovered that upgrading the stock SATA cable with our Hidden Treasure cable can significantly improve the sound.”

Transmission of data including digital audio signals through a SATA cable happens at a much higher speed than via a USB connection and as a result, is more susceptible to jitter and internal system noise. The Audience Hidden Treasure SATA cable employs newly developed proprietary design techniques intended to block noise and ensure optimum signal condition and data integrity. By removing layers of sonic “grunge,” the audible result is greater low-level detail and a smoother, more inviting sonic presentation.

Although the retrofit of a component’s stock SATA cable with a Hidden Treasure SATA cable is a simple un-plug and re-plug function, Audience recommends that the upgrade be performed by a qualified technician. Audience also recommends consideration of the manufacturer’s warranty that could potentially be voided when modifying a particular music player. Audience accepts no liability for damage caused by improper installation.

The Audience Hidden Treasure SATA data cable is currently available. Suggested retail pricing is as follows: 12-inch cable, $180; 18-inch cable, $200; 24-inch cable, $220.

Audience is proud to formally announce the release of the NEW T3 and T4 adeptResponse power conditioners. The T3 and T4 replace existing TS and TSSOX models, respectfully, with significant enhancement to performance resulting from improvements in the design of Audience Aura-TR (previously Aura-TO) filter capacitors. The new Aura-TR capacitors are more resolute, more dynamic and provide a more distinct sound stage. Whereas the T3 is the new “standard” Teflon conditioner, the T4 is the top version that includes several more technologies for all out performance:

• In addition to the Aura-TR capacitors, the T4 includes new Audience Hidden Treasure duplex outlets and is treated throughout by a proprietary Ultra High Voltage Process. Singularly, each of these three new technologies provides a notable improvement. However, in combination, these three new technologies, achieve a truly stunning result. The Audience Hidden Treasure duplexes set a new benchmark in the world of AC outlets. The HT duplexes, compared to the previous rhodium/copper outlets, are more resolute yet smoother at the same time. They are more rich and analog sounding much like going from CD to LP. Selling as a standalone product at $199 each, we feel that the HT duplexes are the very best available AC outlets, bar none!

•  The entire circuit of the T4 is treated by an Audience proprietary Ultra High Voltage process. This treatment delivers voltages upwards of 1 million volts at specific pulse modulations, frequencies and amplitudes, in differing ratios, to individual, and all combined conductive constituents. This unique and special process creates predictable paths through the crystalline grain structure of the various metals, including connection points, and provides a continuity and integrity to the complete AC path. The audible result of the UHVP is one of improved resolution, dynamics, and more pristine sound stage.

• The T4 also includes 1) the previously optional S filter, a large core passive balun transformer providing additional filtering over a broader frequency spectrum down into the critical 20-30Hz range and 2) Audience Au24 SX 6-nines OCC powerChord wire throughout.

• The T4 and T3 both contain long standing Audience features like the star wired ground plane, micro-vibration damping of all fitter capacitors, gold over copper lug connectors and cryogenic treatment throughout the entire AC circuit. The T4 and T3 both contain heavy duty low impedance magnetic circuit breakers and special proprietary invisible surge protection. PowerChords are connected via locking 20A Neutrik AC Powercon connectors for the finest AC powerChord connection, bar none.

Many years of evolutionary research and development, with great attention to detail, are hallmark signatures of all Audience adeptResponse power conditioners.

All units previous to the T3 and T4 can be retrofitted with the new HT duplexes and UHVP treatments for enthusiastic improvements.
